To promote the launch of Airbnb Animals on the West Coast, MATTE produced an influencer event in Los Angeles. 40 guests were invited to learn about how honey is made by a master Beekeeper, who brought his entire hive to the event and taught each influencer to remove honey from the comb. Each guest received a custom monogrammed pink beekeeping suit and collected their own jars of honey. Afterward, there was a brunch and a photo shoot with each of the influencers amidst the bees.

For their East Coast launch, MATTE produced a press event in New York at a trendy Lower East Side art gallery. We took over the entire gallery and hosted an art show themed around animals for members of the press. Our designers created multiple pieces of art which I then fabricated, including over a hundred 2 foot tall plastic elephants, a human-sized spider web, and other mounted art pieces that had an animal theme. Members of the press were invited to have cocktails and learn more about the launch of Airbnb Animals, which was covered in the New York Times, Business Insider, WSJ, and other notable publications.
