Reebok hosted one of the largest footprints at Complexcon 2019 to announce the launch of their new Zig sneaker line. Since this was a collaboration with BBC, the booth was designed to look like a moonscape with huge moon craters and a giant rocket in the middle of it, and a full-sized astronaut hanging over the booth. We designed and built a 20 foot tall rocket ship with Reebok and BBC branding that functioned as a DJ booth, with the DJ’s residing in the top of the rocket overlooking the crowd. The rocket emitted a rumbling noise and haze to simulate take off every 30 minutes. We created a custom foam pit for guests to practice their dunking ability, including custom-designed basketballs and mini basketballs as takeaways. Since this was a collaboration with BBC and their sub-brand ICECREAM, the merch was displayed in custom built ice cream cases and a fake storefront that functioned as a POS and storage for additional units. The booth received press from Event Marketer as one of the best booths at Complexcon.
